I would rather not go through the hassle to make this control myself, so I am hoping one of you know where I can find this:

Northwind is the fake company name used by Microsoft's samples right? Can't you just open the project for editing and click on the control to find out what it's called?

no, you can't... It's not actually a control in use by any of the northwind forms... It's part of the Office 2007 IDE.

On the same topic, however, does anyone know an easy and reliable way of getting that blue-glass look of office 2007 in .Net??

The standard controls are so win2k :hs:

Okay I got a semi-office-2k3 look which is acceptable -- not quite office2k7 like I wanted, but it'll do for now.

Still researching the 2k7 controls. This looks promising: http://www.componentfactory.com/products.php

I would not be surprised if you can't get the Office 2007 skin; Microsoft is proprietary about everything, and the various judgements against them only specified that 3rd-party apps should be able to function as well as Microsoft apps, not look as good.

StarDock makes a skinning engine that you might want to look at, if you have money to spend on the project.

I tried the demo for the link I posted. It was rubbish. And no, I don't want to spend money on it.
