VB Compiler

    I want to turn a few vb6 projects into exe's, is there any way to do this. I cant get the package and deployment wizard to work, so thats not an option. Thxz

    just compile them... Of course, if you move machines, then you must satisfy dependencies manually.

    If the package/deployment wizard isn't working, what is it's error? If there's a compile error, then you must fix your code.

    No my prog runs fine in just the vb runtime mode, but I want to turn it into an exe. The error is something along the lines of "Package and deployment not supported in Working Model edition."

    compile it, then.

    I don't have VB on this machine, right now, otherwise I'd give you the exact menu sequence. I think it's File > Make EXE... but I could be wrong, there.

    what version of vb? And what type of project is it? ActiveX? EXE? DLL?

    6, its just a simple browser program I made for my sis that has all of her sites om a button so she doesnt have to mess around trying to figure stuff out.

    and why don't you just stick with internet explorer, show the "Links" bar, and add them there. Same effect.
