Variations of pushups

    Can anyone list any besides the regular...diamond...etc. Tryin to get rid of ma man boobs that formed after takin alot of nlarge 2. lol:ugh:

    yes but that doesn't get rid of the fat on top of your pecs.

    Yeah and push-ups are pretty much worthless anyway.


    Cardio and bench press.

    I'd kinda like to not ease up on my calorie intake cause im only like 150lbs and trying to bulk. But since I started...it's gone to my stomach and fuckin pecs

    push-ups are an excellent exercise that can be done in additon to or as part of other workouts. they will help you get stronger & help your endurance which will ultimately help you lose weight. there are all kinds of variations.

    I like to do a lot of sets w/ a book or footstool under one hand to vary the angle. Also will set my feet up on the couch to get them higher than my chest.

    I once did the pushups on a scale out of curiosity. I think you're pressing only 70% of your weight at cvertain positions of the pushup. If your feet are level with your hands, the 70% is when your at the bottom position and becomes less as you extend your arms. Now if you raise your feet to a higher plane so that when your arms are extended your feet and torso is parallel to the floor, the 70% is at extension level. I guess it goes higher than 70% when you're at the bottom position of the feet raised pushup.
