Hey guys, I'm pretty new here, and I need your help. You WMDers seem way cooler than those liberal douches in OT.

Anyways, here's the deal. I picked up a Springfield 1903 today and need help finding out what its worth. The stock is in good shape, the bore looks good, the bolt operates smoothly, it was obviously very well cared for.

The serial number is 5022546. TIA for any advice.

Now I think the stock is a replacement, because it is the scant stock with no markings. I don't think its a Springfield either.
    Reciever markings:

    1903A3 CAL 30-06
    NATL ORD
    SO-EL MONTE CAL
    5022546

    Edit: The barrel is marked:

    R A
    some weird symbol
    5-44

I don't want to sell it, I've wanted one of these guns for SO long its not even funny. I'm just trying to find out if its worth anything and if its safe to shoot. Also, I paid $350 for it, $415 out the door. The way I see it, for that price it doesn't even matter if it shoots, it can just be a wall hanger.
