I've took some valerian, it doesn't seem that effective tho. Ehm you suffering from lack of sleep? Also coming into the Asylum with that avatar of yours is highly disturbing :sad2:]

No feeling of stress relief was obtained :dunno:

Valerian is a mild sedative, that can be effective for relaxation, if you can't otherwise calm down. I used to enjoy Kava Kava for this, but then they found out it has nasty side effects.

heh, sorry about the av, didn't even think about it. i'm just a big clint eastwood fan. :)

edit: to answer your questions, i sleep very fitfully. when i take nyquil or whatever when i have a cold i sleep like a rock and wake up refreshed. i don't want to start doing that on a regular basis. i am also very stressed out right now from work, etc... valerian seemed to have a mild result, but i'm almost wondering if it's my imagination...

If it works, good for you. Don't use it every night.
