    Name? Sarah

    Age? 26

    Gender? female

Ethnicity? white girl. more specifically, italian, british, german, french and czech

Religious Affiliation? christian, nothing more specific than that. i was raised in a Presbyterian church but once i moved out on my own, stopped going. havent been to church since, but have a strong faith

Siblings? i have one "real" brother, 4 step brothers and 3 step sisters

Ages of Siblings? younger brother is 23, step siblings ages run from 26 to 30-something

Where raised? southern california, where the 210 and the 57 meet

Level and place of education? i have my BA in psychology from UC Irvine

Occupation? department specialist (fancy word for secretary)

Hobbies? i am a kid at heart, so anything that reminds me of that. i love watching movies (mostly chick flicks so i can zone out and relax), decorating for whatever holiday is coming up next (or if its too soon to decorate, researching cute decorations so i can buy them the second its appropriate), going to disneyland to watch the fireworks show, video games (computer and Wii), walking, biking, researching and planning my next big vacation

    Sexual preference? men

    Measurements? 5'5 and weigh 135

Best and worst experiences with SO's?
Best: i hate to be this cheesy....but saying our vows to each other. we had already made the commitment to each other in our hearts and had already verbally made promises and discussed the rest of our lives, but there was still something very beautiful, touching and special about saying all those things in front of 95 of our friends and family and making it legal and binding forever.

Worst: *backstory* my ex was a huge pot head and could not get through the day without smoking. smoked when he woke up, smoked on lunch breaks, smoked after work, smoked before bed, at the very least. i have never smoked pot in my life. you can see how we already are bad for each other

so we took a road trip up to chico (where he sort of went to college, but never passed any classes) to stay with his ex fuck buddy for a week. he cheated on his last gf with this girl. no clue what i was thinking when i agreed to this, but i think it had something to do with him really wanting to go to chico and to see her, and us trying to save money and not stay in a hotel room. all his friends up there were big druggies and thats all they wanted to do while we were up there. we fought non-stop on this vacation. would have broken up had we not needed to drive home together probably. oh and his cat died while we were gone. worst vacation ever.

Fantasy Date? a day exploring a new country. experiencing the day to day life, taking in the sights, the smells, the sounds

Tell us about your childhood? when i was younger, i thought i had the normal life. parents were married, had a younger brother, a dog, a cat, a house. simple boring life.

then at 7, my mom cheated on my dad and they divorced. i was the first kid i knew who had divorced parents. i hated my mom for a long time. i was old enough to understand that she was the one leaving and she had hurt my dad, but at the time i didnt understand the deeper problems that existed before the cheating. my parents did their best to split us equally and we spent 2 weeks with one parent and then 2 weeks with the next, and so on. it was hard at first, but when the years went on, it got easier. i gained a whole slew of brothers that lived with my dad and stepmom and they became family. as i got older, i started to realize there was more to my parents break up than just the cheating. i forgave my mom for what she did and we become very close. could talk to her about anything.

i started out as a very shy kid, but was drawn to drama class at my elementary school. my parents were surprised i was happy on stage in front of all those people but shy when i was in front of a few. i joined choir in jr high since they had no drama class and it further pulled me out of my shell and introduced me to some amazing friends. i stuck with choir in high school but joined a show choir instead of just a normal choir (we would dance and sing at the same time). it was a great experience and helped me become secure with who i was and gave me a lot of confidence in life. not to mention the fun i had

i didnt have a lot of boyfriends or date in high school. i had one boyfriend from 15-17 and had a serious crush on a guy from 17 through my early 20's

when i was 17 and a senior in high school, my mom passed away. it devastated me for years and changed who i was completely.

What do you think contributed to your like/dislike of women or men?

i dont really have any major "issues" about men anymore. when i was younger, i was bitter and upset about boys and how they treated me but as i have grown up, i realized that i was the one being silly and that it wasnt entirely the guys fault for hurting me. ive not had any major heartbreaks that could be considered just the guys fault. it was mine as well

for a long time, i didnt have any close girl friends. i grew up with all brothers, and we lived on a street with lots of boys, so i got along with them all so well. i was not a tom boy, im still very much a girly girl, but i can hang with the guys and get dirty as well. in jr high i went through a change of friends from being in the "popular" crowd, in which i never felt i was pretty enough, cool enough or had the right clothing. hearing these girls talk shit on their friends behind their backs made me more cautious with girls and not as trusting as i used to be. then when i was in my first or second year of college, the girl who i had called a best friend since 6th grade hooked up with the guy i was dating behind my back. looking back, i understand what happened and why she did it, but it has changed my trust in her and other girls. i am not as open as i used to be, but i have not let it change me into a woman hater either

Best Relationship? current one. it has been my best relationship from the start.

Worst Relationship? it was never a real relationship, just a back and forth with the same boy for 6 years. we never officially dated, although he took me on one or two dates in those 6 years and we hooked up a couple times, but nothing more serious than that. the fact that it is my worst is my own fault. i was too young and stupid at the beginning of it all to realize he would never date me. i gave my heart to him anyway and he broke it many times.

Are your siblings like you at all in their relationships? YES, and its so sad. we all have the horrible habit of getting back with ex's over and over and over again. i like to think its because we want to give people another chance and because we try to only see the best in everyone, but i think deep down, its because of a lack of confidence in ourselves most of the time.

How open minded are you? i try to be very open minded, even if i myself am not willing to do what other people are doing. i have a huge desire to understand things and try to see where other people are coming from and why their ideas may not mirror mine. what works for me might not work for them, and vice versa

Have you ever been involved in a 3some? never have and i seriously doubt i ever will. i am not closed to the idea of having fun in the bedroom, i just fear that it would forever change the relationship, and i wont take that risk

What do you look for in another partner? someone who can make me laugh. someone who can understand me. someone who lets me in

Do you think a persons promiscuity or lack there of has to do with their childhood? i do. whether it makes them super uptight or super loose, you can see where it may have come from when you hear about childhood. but maybe thats just the psych major in me talking

Have you used online sites for the reasons of getting sex or dates or both? nope

What's your favorite body part of the opposite sex? hands, or chin. there is something so sexy about a guy using his hands. there is also something so sexy about the way a guys chin looks when he kisses.

Describe your type of partner? someone i can have fun with. someone who lets me be independent, but at the same time, protects me. someone who listens. someone who has their own opinion. someone who excels in areas that i dont. someone i can be 100% myself around.

What type of partner you actually date? i never dated anyone like my SO, though he is what i described above. i always tried for guys that were never quite right for me. it was with my SO that i learned what was good for me, what was healthy in a relationship.

Any words of advice for the Vag lurkers? join in! we all have different opinions and all come from different places and i think that is the beauty of being on a forum. your speaking up might greatly help a person seeking advice

Oh yeah, pictures will have to wait. I'm at work and have none on this computer

Oh! I forgot... did you ever play the game "Hump Island?" Its this game my friends and I play...

The scenario is you're deserted on a desert isle, never to be found again. Magically, you come across a genie who tells you can magically wish for 5 people to bring with you to hump island. Catch is, they have to be famous. They can be dead or alive, and they can be moderately famous (like local newscasters or whatev.) or wicked super famous, and they can be from a specific year or era only (like, Marlon Brando cira 1955 is on my H.I.- but only from 1955)

So, dear VC, who is on your Hump Island? :buttsex:

favorite movie: while it changes between a few most of the time, i have loved the princess bride since i was a kid. its a classic

been together for almost 3 1/2 years now, but married for like 2 weeks

we met in college, though we didnt start dating until 2 years later, after we both had graduated

i love anything italian or mexican. they are the only 2 types of food that i will eat as leftovers since they always taste so much better the second day

3 words to describe me....caring (i care too much about things sometimes, its a flaw), offensive (i like to cross the line a lot), and easily amused

isn't that the worst? I had do to the 2 weeks here and there crap after my folks split and I hated it.

never let me really settle into a neighborhood and I felt like my folks were always trying to one up each other.

i actually learned how to make it work perfectly. i realized i could go almost 2 weeks without being a bad child and fighting with whatever parent i lived with. towards the end of the 2 weeks, i would act up, and bam, i got to leave for 2 weeks.

thankfully my parents were in the same city so the most annoying thing was packing up my belongings every 2 weeks, not changing towns or friends

the only reason i know about ramona is because of show choir, so it stuck when you said you were from there. i actually was in orlando for a country-wide competition one year

when i was at uci, i hated it. i transfered in as a junior during winter quarter, and i found it nearly impossible to make friends. i also hated the city cause it was quiet and boring. funny thing is now i love the campus and wish i could go back. and irvine being boring and quiet works out well now that im old and a working woman

and i have thought about going further with my education. i loved school and i do well with studying, so i figured i should continue on. right now its the debate of kids vs graduate school. my desire to have kids is winning so graduate school will wait

:eek3: Did you guys get to go to Disney? There's a huge competition for Show Choirs yearly in Orlando, I bet it was the same one we went to.
