    Hopefully easy question

I have two DV tapes of my vacation earlier this year. I've never offloaded video onto the computer to make into a DVD, add soundtrack, titles, etc. What would you say is the best way to do that?

No, PC. I've made many videos in Adobe Premiere 4-5 years ago, but that never involved the transfer from a camcorder. I guess that's my main question; how does that work these days? How much space does the video take up? Thanks again. :)

open premiere, plug camera in via firewire and choose capture video from the file menu. 1hour = 1gigabyte in raw avi i believe.

    Capture is super easy.

What I want to do is take the two tapes I have from our trip to China, edit out the excess crap, add a soundtrack & titles, and burn it to a DVD to show the fam at Christmas. Not sure about the DVD burning either. :o
