Another weekend of shooting football, I feel like I am progressing slowly but I'm not really sure what I should be working on. I have about 7 games left this year and would like to keep improving. Be harsh on the images I know I've got a lot to learn.

None of them are all that tack sharp.. what mode are you shooting in? Because your shutter speed is all over the place.. I saw one at 1/400 which isn't near enough to really freeze action. You could probably manage to jump up to 500 ISO or so with barely any image degradation, and you'll get way better shutter speeds.

I was shooting in AV mode. I had it at ISO 200, It was sunny for most of the time but a few clouds came in and messed things up.

Don't be afraid to bump the ISO up to get some faster shutter speeds.

Way better than your last few sets! good improvement :)

Definetly bump that iso, iso 800 should still be very clean on an slr
