So today it started snowing at Alta when we got there at 9 30, there was over 6 inches of powder and the day ended with over a foot of fresh powder. It was snowing hard as hell all day and made photography a pain. We are supposed to get 18 inches tonight and have blue skies tomorrow so i will keep my fingers crossed.

My setup is a d300 + 35 f/2, 2 batteries and a 50 1.8. I think the 50 1.8 was lost to the mountain today because its nowhere to be found. It sucks but at the same time I rarely used it and it was the cheapest of almost all of my equipment

More pictures to follow in the next few days. I would like C+C for these, although understand how snowy it was haha, AF kept focusing on snowflakes.

:hs: haven't gotten a decent snowfall since december. I really have missed it this winter, and now it's looking like all hope for a good fall is slipping away.

Brought my camera today, waist deep heavy powder made it rough and I wanted to ski hard so I locked it up in a locker and went back out. Man did I do some insane skiing today. Sorry no pictures :/ condensation makes it hard, I can't go into the lodge and back out without condensation.

    1, 3, 8, 10, 12... all a bit snapshotish.

4&5 are nice, but too bad you cut off the tip of 5's skis... and maybe crop differently... add (or put back if you can) to the left of the frame, give your subject someplace to go. they're too centered.

#2 is the best of this set :hs:
