Shot some USPSA this afternoon. Shot with Bobby McGee director of Sales of Blade Tech, also a sponsored shooter for Smith and Wesson, Grand Master in Production division. And Yong Lee, winner of this years Double Tap Nationals Production division and Grand Master. He is the Chief Firearms instructor for the Bellevue Police Department.

Had two hiccups early on, had some crap in my magwell and the mags were sticking. Ran back to the safe and cleared it out and it ran beautifully afterwards.

    Enjoy!

doh! I had nothing to do today I would have gone :(

What are the rules for sights on a production gun?

I want to run a G34 but do not want to use the stock sights.

As long as it's a Post and Notch your good to go. No ghost rings, and no laser dots.

IDPA State Championships is next Saturday, then it's USPSA again the following Sunday at Marysville. Weekend after that is USPSA at Renton. And the week after that is Crazy Croc, which I'm still trying to decide if I'm going. It's in OR, and is 400+ rounds in 8 stages.

I have to see if I can tune my open gun by then because that's a high round count match, and I'd rather not have 10 single stack mags around my entire body. lol

In order to shoot USPSA now, you have to go through a "safety check" which is just a half hour hand gun proficiency test making sure you are safe. Let me know if you are serious and I will schedule a safety check with you so you can shoot on the 24th, probably the day before. Once you get your safety card you can shoot any USPSA club match event.

    :)
