I found a USPc in .40 for only $400, does this deal seem too good to be true? He didn't say there was anything wrong with it, but $400 is the cheapest I have ever seen a USPc go for. This is also going to be something that I want to carry.

Here are the pics, tell me what you think...

Looks a little worn. Some holster wear on the nose. Is it local to you? If so check it out. If it's good buy it.

I'd probably jump on it. Even if it turns out to be a bunk deal someone will pay you $400 for it. Most likely it just needs a little fine tuning if anything.

For $400 you can't go wrong. Worst comes to worst you can sell it for what you bought it for.

So I just got this email reply from him.......

    So it's really $450 + $25 FFL fee... so $475. Still a good deal?

With just the two mags? Yeah it's not a bad deal. You can pick up 10 round mags for around $10.

I was going to buy that gun from him, but I want a 9mm so I told him I would pass. He's a good guy and has a lot of HKs. He admits that there is a little holster wear, but it's still a nice gun. For that price, send the slide off to get coated and you got an almost new gun. If you want a 40, jump on that deal.

HK's have lifetime warranties? Even if i'm not the original owner?

I thought HK was notoriously bad for customer service and warranty type stuff, similar to Colt?
