Thinking to save space in my bedroom getting a big LCD monitor and using it as a TV as well.

What all equipment wise is needed to do this so I can also have a remote control and hook up a game console?

Any way to do it so I can have the computer off, but still use the TV?

    Thanks

some LCDs support RCA input. You can use that with a VCR or cable box as the tuner. Otherwise, Viewsonic makes a box to turn any LCD into a TV w/o the need for a computer.

    Thanks for the info...

Anyone have any experience with the 30" monitors they sell? Samsung has one.
