How do you use your phone to connect to the internet on iMac?

I searched and did not get desired results.

jailbreak and install pdanet, it is a paid app now after like a 14 day trial period but pm me and i can get it for you for free (not sure if that discussion is allowed here as some forums it isn't, don't wanna break any rules). once you install pdanet you will have to create an ad hoc network, connect to it iwth your iphone, then turn pdanet on and bam you are on the internet via your iphone cell phone connection.

i have used this extensively and have never incurred any rate increase on my iphone plan. obviously i'm not downloading gigs of music or videos, but for normal usage it works amazing.

pm me if you have any questions.

yes i am on AT&T, i have used PdaNet extensively and never had any issue where they charged me more. i monitor my internet usage on my statements and the usage definitely shows an increase when i use PdaNet frequently during a given month, but no price change. i wouldn't recommend downloading tons of music or movies with that connection, but normal usage is absolutely no problem at all.
