    Hey,

Does anyone here have a really thorough php based user registration system that includes a confirmation e-mail delivery?

Some I've found have been less than stellar to say the least. Thanks. :)

ive also been looking for a decent user class, that I can use when i start new projects, rather than rewriting crap everytime.

i would still suggest checking out other systems to gain some more knowledge on the process. there are too many people that try to develop user registration and log in systems with no knowledge of even the most basic security practices.

Yeah, Joomla does that as well, out of the box. Joomla with Community Builder does it even better. Both are free Open Source, with robust development and active community participation.

Check out the registration on one of my Joomla sites: autorespond verification email, auto followup confirmation mail with login details for user, customizable fields and tooltips, built-in captcha with audio, the works:

9 months is the difference between then and now.

better searching through old threads to find an answer than making a new one and being told it was a repost
