Used Desktop

    So I wanna buy a used desktop, want something fast and kinda nice.

    Dude you can build a pretty decent machine for not much $$.
    Or buy an out of the box and upgrade video card/memory/hdd

    I'd just build yourself a new one. All the ones I see on craigslist are wayyyy overpriced. Many you can build cheaper and better than what people are selling them for. Your area may be different but here its ridiculous.

    If you're looking for something that has a half-decent warranty, try newegg or tigerdirect - they both offer refurbs that aren't too pricey.

    I would go for something which you can add to, for example go for PCI-E instead of AGP. I'd base my choice on the CPU installed mainly.
