Anyone have some reommendations on where to buy good, used audio gear? Specifically looking for a high quality preamp, and maybe some NHT speakers (always wanted a pair of NHT's)

I got my amp at an auction. Since no one knew what it was, I got it cheap. It was listed as a "McIntosh Audio Transformer". They actually had it stuck in a filing cabinet drawer - so I bid $25, won it, brought it home and it lit right up. Running my Dahlquist DQ10s now. But, I want a good preamp to go with it....

www.audiogon.com is probably one of the best sites for high end audio equipment. I have a pair of NHT SB-3 bookshelf speakers. If you are interested let me know, I'm thinking of moving to floorstanders.

Yeah, Audiogon is pretty nice. Lots of good stuff there.

I am looking for a good quality preamp - MUST have a phono stage. Anybody here got one for sale?

You're likely to get a better deal on audiogon than on this site and more selection (of course). I got a good deal on an NAD integrated amp from there.

NAD C352BEE I believe is the full model number. 80W/channel at 8 ohms. I believe I paid in the mid to high 400's. I may want a new amplifier soon, so you can let me know if you are interested.
