About half a year ago someone stole my stereo, now im stereoless but I have an I pod. What are my options that I have to install just maybe a modulator to play the ipod only. I dont want another stereo because its will cost $ and I dont want it getting jackked again. So how do i go about installing just an interface for my ipod without all the other stuff.

buy cheap pc speakers and tape them to your dash and plug it in with the 3.5mm jack to your ipod.

If you really want to go without a head unit you will need an amplifier with very sensitive pre-inputs because the iPod will output a lower level signal than a head unit will. That or you'll need a linebooster.

ShawdonFax, get yourself an amplifier that power all the speakers. Then find one of those 3.5mm to RCA converted wire and plug one end into the amp and the other end into the ipod. Now your ipod will be your source of music.
