I plug it in and it is recognized but it won't show up in My Computer as a drive. It is mapped to drive D: which is fine and always has in the past.

If I open up an explorer window and manually enter D: I can view the files on the key but I want the fucker to show up in My Computer as a virtual drive when I plug it in.

    Any ideas?

Do you have more than one drive in the machine? Is there a D: drive when the USB key is not plugged in?

Right click on My Computer -> Manage. Go into disk management and maybe you will see something worth looking at there. While in there, you can change the drive letter if you want, maybe that will help.

Fixed. A good old restart worked.

USB Mass Storage Device now shows up in My Computer.

    Glitch in the matrix. :squint:
