I'm looking to purchase a portable USB HDTV TV Tuner for my laptop. I've been looking at the Huappage and Pinnacle products. Any experiences you'd like to share? Which product would you recommend. Thanks.

I tried the Hauppage HVR-950 and it sucked bfdd. I have since gone back to an internal tuner on my desktop. I don't have any recommendations for a laptop. I have not been pleased with the usb offerings, to date.

I have the Pinnacle one and like it, but do not have HD, so I can't comment on that.

I've never seen a USB TV tuner that worked well. The plastic cases they come in make them overheat and lock up. The internal ones, on the other hand, can dissipate heat properly.
