Mainly the ones that don't have 2.0 on their motherboards but uses the PCI port for it. I am looking to buy a USB 2.0 PCI card, but haven't a clue to what is good or not. I know there are some chipsets that work better than others...and again I do not know what they are.

If you have one of these..please help me out by listing the Brand / Model...Operating System...and your review on the card.

    Thanks.

I got one from BUSLink for about $10 US ( it was $13 CDN) It's got 4 port at the back and anothter one for internal devices (don't ask me why...)

All I can say is that it works great, XP had no problem detecting the card and had drivers for it. I used it with external HDs, and the transfer speed is above 40MB/sec most of the time depends on the HD. It works like that with my old P4 system as well as an OLD Dell dual P2 workstation. I don't know what chipset it was and stuff...
