Cliffs: No cliffs. The car names are bolded.
I don't see any pics.
Fist car that popped into mind....Chevrolet Cavalier
agree with the taurus, sebring, and compass
that list is way too short
and I hate the 'blame trucks' argument
10 more failures.
I agree with the H2/Prius debacle.
cars that were cheap to build and sold alot are the blame?
I think it's more that they stopped caring to update it while everyone else was rolling out new versions every few years.
sadly i remember the pinto days of exploding fuel tanks
11. Pontiac Aztec
those cars do all suck
Except the thing most people don't know is that the 60's-era Mustangs had the EXACT SAME fuel tank design, and thus, the same problem with fuel leakage and fire when hit from behind, but no one mentions this, they only apply this attribute to the Pinto, not the Mustang.
The problem was that the fuel tank extended down too far, so that in a rear-end impact, the tank would be pushed into the rear axle, tending to cause the tank to rip open and leak fuel, causing fires.
um, already on the list
I guess Pintos were getting rear-ended more than Mustangs.
But not the Mustangs. hmmm....
people actually drive that stupid fucking shit?
Because that was never in a movie
Toyota can't get new ones here fast enough. Read the article.
They're planning on making a plant here just to meet the demand.
Or people just liked Mustangs more so that they were blinded to the problem. In the 70s it was more popular to hate on small cars like the Pinto, rather than classics like the Mustang.
thats my point, people are actually buying those stupid ass fucking things?
