So I check the tracking number CMMG didn't send me until today and saw that my AR was riding my way on a big brown truck, and walked into my FFL shop right as he was about to call me. I'm now the proud owner of an evil black rifle.

I can't find a single blemish or mark on this thing. It looks brand new. Both the upper and lower are CMMG, Tapco stock, and already sporting the MBUS I got from THT. If anybody was thinking about getting one of these but not sure, do it. Guy at the shop I had it sent to thought I was joking when I told him how much it cost.

    Here's one shitty phone pic.

I just might have to do that. Depends on if I can get some ammo and get it sighted in before that.

not unless your dealer understands they're legal and only if the rifle is SB-23 compliant before entering the state

You could use a middle-man FFL, but the larger problem is the lowers that these might come with.

On the site, they list DPMS and Armalite as possible brands of lowers. These are on the banned list and thus illegal in CA. :greddy:

So if you buy one of these rifles and you have the unfortunate luck of getting a banned lower, you're pretty much screwed.

You were rooting for Jerry, I was rooting for Denny.

    I think.

Either way, your guy is a prick.
