for hypertrophy purposes, Im just looking for suggestions on how to set the routine up properly.

I came across something like this...opinions?

    Upper Day 1:
    - Bench Press
    - Tbar row
    - Military Press
    - Pulldown

    Lower Day 1:
    - Front Squat
    - Conventional Deadlift
    - Hamstring Curls
    - Barbell Shrugs

    Upper Day 2:
    - Incline Bench
    - Pull-Up w/ weight
    - Dips w/weight
    - Cable row

    Lower Day 2:
    - Front Squat
    - Leg extension
    - SLDL
    - Barbell Shrugs

I will probably do like a 4x8-10 on each

only possible problem I can see is that if you're going heavy all the time with your good mornings, SLDL, and deadlift you may strain your lower back. Just be careful and listen to your body... thats an injury no one needs ;).

Ok, I'm slightly confused as to why you have Shrugs listed on your "Lower" day? :dunno:

Conventional deadlift, SLDL and goodmorning....i would only do 2 of those per week, on separate days. So you might do conventional deadlifts on Day 1 then goodmornings on Day 2. The next week do SLDL on Day 1 instead of conventional, and just alternate like that.

only one shoulder specific exercise, bench and dips use them as a secondary. If i find i have time to do some accessory work i will add lateral raises.

Bench and dips mainly use anterior...you should try and do some posterior work as well. I have the same issue as you, i don't know where to supplement some lateral and posterior work... makes me want to go to the gym one day just for some general shoulder work, nothing too heavy tho.
