    Hi!

I've been trying out all sorts of things to upload some scanned pictures onto hi5 (a place to meet people). I'd appreciate it so much if anyone could help! I've tried out some things myself, but I haven't had much luck so far...

    Here it goes:
I scanned pictures (using the "photo glossy" option) from a computer and sent it to the one I am currently using through e-mail.
When I try to upload my pictures, it tells me that the file type is not recognizable: I can only have JPG, GIF, or PNG files.
Obviously, my picture files are neither of these. When I right click and go to properties, it only tells me that the type is "file". I keep looking for a ".avi" or anything, but there is no such thing to be found.

I don't know what to do from now on. Is there a way to change my file type?

When you save the scanned file save it as filename.jpg.

Or on the picutres you already have scanned, rename them to filename.jpg.

The reason it says the type is file is because you are missing the file extension.
