    Hey guys,

I've got some old school computers here that I need to replace. The only thing they will be used for is opening an excel file, minor web surfing and using one program in microsoft access.

The place accross the street from me offers this as an upgrade for old computers (HD's and CD drives are all fine for now).

    P4 Midi 350watt case
    Intel Pentium D Dual Core 805 2.66ghz 800mhz CPU w/ fan
256mb DDR2 Ram ( would get this upgraded to 512)
    Asus P5VDC-MX Motherboard
    64mb AGP integrated video/integrated sound card/network card

    price = $249 cdn.

How does this sound? I'll probably be getting 2-3 systems done (upgrading them from old ass systems such as P-166, AMD k6-2 500mhz, Duron 1.0ghz). What do you guys think? I can maybe get them to put the 512 ram in for free because I'm doin 3 systems or something. I dont want to spend more than $300-400/computer because they just wont get the use.

They've also got this for the same price

    Case P4 Midi 350 watt w/front USB
    Motherboard Asrock 775i65G mother board
    CPU Intel Cel D 3.2G w/ fan
    Memory 256MB DDR400 RAM
    Video 64MB AGP integated video
Sound 32 bit integrated sound card
    Network 10/100 integrated Network card
    Others 4 x Integrated USB2.0 Ports
Warranty 5 Year labour, 1 Year Parts

I always thought a dual core would be better than a Celeron but my computer knowledge is a bit outdated as you can tell
