So I recently purchased a nice new shiny Toshiba laptop, 2 gigs of ram, Intel Core 2 @ 1.73 GHz, nothing special on the video side of things.

But Vista sucks. Takes multiple minutes to fully load up Vista, games run like crap, and it uses a gig of ram just idling. Is it worthwhile to install Windows XP on the thing? If so, is there anything special I would have to do in the BIOS before switching over?

Shouldn't have any problems if toshiba provides the drivers on their website, otherwise have fun getting chipset drivers for it.
