I bought a laptop last Christmas with XP Pro and was given a disc from the manufacturer that allows me to upgrade to Vista Business.

I've been playing around alot with Vista here at work on VMware and it's definitely starting to grow on me.

How many people here are running on Vista? XP? Should I go ahead and make the change? :noes:

Since it is apparent that everyone was dying to know...I went ahead with the upgrade and it went off without a hitch. Vista runs perfectly and I have yet to run into any issues. :bigthumb:

    Scratch that...bug #1 found.

For no apparent reason, the volume, network connection, and battery/power icons in the taskbar will not load upon system restart, but will show up if you log off, then log in.

yeah that happens from time to time to me also but Ive also had the icon issues in xp so i just deal with it. I like vista more than xp. really no major issues and as the system devlops the memory allotment it gets smoother and smoother every boot.
