Crappy pic I know, but the door was locked. Tach is farthest left, then speedo, then 3 other gauges. Temp, Fuel, Oil IIRC. The seats felt GOOD. Much better than 4th gen T/A seats, and more supportive. The pic is of a V6/auto, I sat in/drove a GT/5 speed. First mod needs to a be a shifter. No matter what. note the 3 spoke steering wheel with airbag

The bar you see going across the center, is a Panhard bar. LCA's is visible to the far left. I did not see a TQ Arm, but I do know the panhard bar is new to the 05.

Rear End: Biggest thing I noticed, Center fill gas tank. Gas door looks to have a Mustang logo, off the side of a V6 car. The wing looked alot like the 03 Cobra wing. Taillights looked EXTREMELY close to current ones. I might post the pic later, trying to decide if I should try to make some $ off of it.

When did GM start making mustangs? And you said the doors were locked, but how did you feel the seats? Why did you compare the seats to a Trans Am?

    I like Ford's philosphy:

Let's disguise a car with bras and canvas, then paint it polka-dot. They'll never notice! :ugh2:

I didn't write those comments..I merely cut and pasted them from their site. I assume the guy rode in the GT and that is where he drew his conclusions from

Yes. He drove the car. He only backed it up into the employee garage but he was around when they showed it off a bit. He said it looked to be LS1 fast for what its worth.

My cousin flipped the drivers off who were sitting inside KFC watching us and yelled "MUSTANGS SUCK ASS". They promptly flipped us back off. Good times.

the `05 GT Concept LOOKS NO WAY BANGLED

and these spy shots confirm the production version is going to look VERY CLOSE to the GT concept which is absolutely badass.

The interior looks like the F-150, Mazda 3, and Lincoln Aviator. This is obviously the direction Ford, Mazda, Mercury, Lincoln is taking.

I hope the interior quality is better than the Aviator.

If they learned anything from the new F150, interior quality/fit & finish should rival most european cars.

Sat in a new F150 Lariant on Sunday and the interior was insanely amazing. I really hope Ford extends this quality to all of their models.

It's pretty effective, if you ask me. The leopard print combined with all the black baggy stuff makes it nearly impossible to get a good idea of what it's really going to look like. I've seen Lambo and Ferrari do worse jobs with hiding their designs.

Most likely, take a look at the new f-150, also look at GM and the new gad prix and GTO. All american car companies are taking big steps forward with their new models.. well most.
