update: week 3 of my diet...

    So far I have been pretty damn strict, only cheated once (got a little drunk this weekend and ate some cinnamon rolls:o) I started at around 278 and today I am down to 267 (first thing AM weights). My quads are down almost an inch from all the running I am doing. I am training 10-12 times a week and adding more as I go.

    right now my routine is like this:

    Monday, Wednesday, Friday:
    AM run: 2-4 miles for time on the street.

    Assistance Weight Workout: Core, Grip, tricep, back etc.

    PM: 2-3 hours MMA training (1st hour is a combination of marine boot camp and submission wrestling

    Tuesday, Thursday:
    AM: Bag Work, Thai Pads, Technique

    PM: Tues = Posterior Chain complexed with banded knees Thurs: Anterior Chain development complexed with jumps (front suats+box jumps)

    Sat: AM: Grappling

    PM: Hang Cleans, Hang Clean+push press, hang snatch, hang snatch + oh squats


    I am mainly working in the power endurance phase of the overall system. I will be moving into the heavier phase and then speed phase over the next month.

    Your quads are still incredible.

    I always find it funny watching MMA because it seems like all the fighters have tiny calves.

    sidenote: My buddy met Franklin and Lidell this past weekend. I'm envious.
