yeah, i was out of town for a week or so, during that time I didnt workout and I ate decently but not as well as I should have, specially considering I was on a bus for like 14 hours 2 of those days.

No worries, if I did it before I will do it again.

Seeing this TINY TINY gain which to me is a ton has just given me motivation to push myself ever harder.

You see me right now? That was my goal for AUGUST.

    Edit:

Just saw what you edited, will def get back on track, much harder. Specially now that the weather is nice here on top of my indoor cardio and (biking, running and swimming) I will add outdoor biking and rollerblading.

At least the gain wasnt a compelte disaster.

Woke up this morning, jogged before rugby practice had a decent breakfast...shit is back on track and now im pushing much harder.

You lifting? If not... get on that. I really regret not lifting when I did my first cut.

Yeah I am, right now im doing lower weights higher reps. Have also been doing exercises that make me use my own weight like pushups and situps and pullups ect...

Have also been doing tons of situps because a lot of people told me here that they regret not doing those while they were cutting.

doing abs 1-2x a week is fine. You don't need them more than that. Why are you doing lower weight higher reps?? You need to start doing more compound movements.

Not to a T because what I wanted to do initially was loose my fat so I was doing TONS of cardio, then got busy with exams, was out of town for a week and then more exams so the last 2 and a half weeks of April have been a disaster for me

    EDIT:

A lot of people have been telling me that with my natural body build I should stop cutting and work on flattening out the skin around my stomach and chest and such, I'm a pretty big guy 6'4 and I am pretty broad. What do you think?

Once you get your exams sorted out, follow that routine 100%, get dedicated to it, eat right...good things'll come. Also don't get in the habit of checking your progress too often or you won't notice the change as much - every couple months or so is good.

you can't target your stomach or your chest, you have 0 muscle and need to build it and reduce your bodyfat by eating lean and lifting hard

Yeah I assumed that just how you can't target 1 specific area for loosing fat you can't do it for muscle. I'm done now so all I have to do is just work which can easily be worked
You suggest lower reps higher weights? Or just keep doing what I was doing and just bump up the weights?

Oh and I don't know if I said it or not but thank a ton for all the info/tips.

I got a lot more out of this than I wanted too. Next picture I take will be at the end of June.

Follow what the routine says for reps/sets 100%. You should be doing the most weight you can for that rep range, and increasing the weight once it becomes easy.

Lift heavy... eat right... and stay focused. Pick a proven routine (ie: something that involves compound movements and isn't just chest and bi's) and stick with it. Anyone who utters the words.. "spot reduce" or "tone" should be ignored.
