get some plain oldfashion oatmeal, one of the best foods out there for breakfast, i try to eat my oatmeal with NO sugar just a little cinnamon..the milk i cook it with makes it edible enough..OR some whole wheat bread with natural peanut butter and whey shake in the morning...make sure its 100% whole grain/wheat. (you want a complex carb and protein meal in the morning to fuel you throughout the day)

make sure ur making those sandwiches with whole wheat bread and not white bread..simple carbs are not good...eat brown/wild rice rather than white..its more nutritous

fruits and veggies are always good

no carbs late at night before bed..

Ok, forgot to grab Oatmeal. gonna get some of that today.

Is whole wheat really that important? I hate the taste. Can anyone link me to some articles explaining the benefits / or an article with negatives of white bread.

So, protein shake and some wheat bread in morning is the way to go razor? i usually have a whey protein shake at 8pm or so after the gym at night.

    Brown wild rice = check

And why are carbs dangerous before sleep?
Also, is mayonaise [best foods canola mayo] bad on my sandwhiches.. i usually make chicken salad w/ a spoonfull of mayo. then i spread mayo lightly on my tomatoes as well.

    Thanks for all the help!!

it doesnt have to be whole wheat bread in the morning everyday...just some complex carbs (oatmeal, whole wheat bread) with some protein like some egg whites/peanut butter/whey/milk...

i alternate eating oatmeal and wheat bread with pb..sometimes i eat egg whites but i hate eggs. eating whey in the morning is important and right after lifting..read in some article dont feel like looking for it. Most of the guys here drink one right when they wake up.

what i eat for breakfast differs from everyone here cause everyone has dif goals..mine is to slowly shred body fat and gain muscle at the same time..yes it can be done. whats yours? thats why you want high protein to keep ur muscle. i dont eat a lot for breakfast cause i only weigh 155, just eat clean until ur full.

carbs before sleep is bad cause ur bodies metabolism slows down while sleepings and most of the food is stored as fat.

i hate mayo and its bad for you...if you absolutely must have it, get some light or fat free mayo and eat as LITTLE as possible...try to eat healthy fats such as fish oils/nuts/pb etc..

damn that was a lot of typing..i just felt like teaching today :dunno: someone else can answer your questions or correct mine

Thanks a lot man. i realize i could definitely do the research and appologize for the laze. really busy lately. than again, i could argue against myself that instead of being on OT asking i could of spent that time researching.

    Nevertheless, i appreciate your help.

Im gonna start drinking protein shakes when i wake up, and def start getting some whole bread.. eating PB/whole bread for breakfast
    also gonna get some oatmeal.

any recomendations on whole bread .. that taste good/decent?

i weigh around 160 and am trying to do much the same your doing.. cut off some of this extra fat but still get bigger.

Also, its wierd, i get EXTREMELY HUNGRY around 10:30/11 PM. i sleep around 12 and wake up at 8:30-9 every morning. what can i eat as a snack that will fill me up / healthy / lo-cal etc at night?

    Thanks again
