Note this is a pic of the inside of the "midsize cab" not the crew cab- which will be unveiled later this year.

20" Wheels - sure as hell don't look like it.

The engine, unfortunately Toyota didn't release any specs on the motor, but did say that it can tow up to 10,000 pounds.

2007 Toyota Tundra is about the size of the F150.

    My opinion:
    Pros:
Engine looks very promising, which numbers were released.
I like the King Cab, or should I say "Mid-Size" cab, rear door, integrates nicely in the overall design of the truck.

    Cons:
    Grille waaaaay too big.
Also hood looks to be raised to big for the front.
    20"s wheels look too small.
Back looks too much like the Nissan Titans.
    Overall looks to bubbly looking.

Honestly, I'm quite dissapointed with the 2nd Generation Toyota Tundra. I was expecting more, while it will probably be a great quality truck, and sell much more due to its nearly appointed size. It just looks like a beefed up Tacoma, while the new Tacoma looks good in my opinion, they (Toyota) added too much roundness to the hood and front.

If I were to buy a truck today, it'd be a Nissan Titan or F150.

I might think different when I see it in person this Fall.

Nice interior, ugly exterior. I liked the old Tundra better.

I agree. Toyota can make some nice looking interiors. This one looks horrid. It just doesn't flow together all in one piece.

I didn't think they could make a truck uglier than the Tacoma.

    I was wrong.

Toyota is going balls out on the 2nd Gen Tundra. Expect significant gains in its market share and for those of you in Texass, you'll be seeing a much bigger Toyota presence.

    :nono:

    Titan > F150

Japanese turd... if I had a nickel everytime I heard that, I'd be broke. :wtc:

You really think America is the only country that can make a good pickup. hahaha. There's a reason why General Motors and Ford are sinking deep into the red this past year. For the most part, shitty designs, and crappy quality compared to the competion.

I expect it to ricochet off the Big 3's armor like the Titan has. :mamoru:

Titan has a sales goal of 100k vehicles per year and it sold 87k. Not bad for Nissan's first major foray.

Toyota has a production capability of 300k Tundra's per year and they shouldn't have a problem coming somewhat close to that mark. The Dodge Ram only has projections of 400k vehicles per year so Toyota is slowing making its mark.

BTW, if you look at 1995 vs. 2005 truck market share, Toyota has jumped close to 3% with its semi fullsize Tundra. On the other hand, during that same period, Ford has lost 5% market share :mamoru:
