    Been meaning to start one for a while...This is more of a log on my progress to become the better person that I strive for.

    Stats:
    Fall 2004: 174lbs, 5'9", ~23%

    4/6/05: 159lbs, 5'9", ~17.7%

    Goals:
    1) Achieve and maintain an active lifestyle to avoid having to depend on statin drugs to maintain a low cholesterol level.
    2) Develop confidence in my mental, physical, and intellectual abilities. Not be afraid to speak up.
    3) Build up endurance, speed, strength, and agility.
    4) Get a 6 pack. I've got $20 riding on this that I can achieve one before my cousin does.

    Current toys:
    -Asics Gel kayano 7 shoes
    -Ipod mini w/belkin arm strap
    -polar s210 hrm
    -buddy lee aero speed jump rope

    After reading this article (ttp://www.cnn.com/2005/HEALTH/diet.fitness/03/15/how.much.exercise.ap/ ) a while back, I took it as a challenge to do this.
    1.5 hour jog on the beach...exact distance unknown .. guessing 8 miles
    950 calories :noes:

    4/7/05
    Cholesterol blood test. I'll know in a few days if my progress from fall will be significant enough to avoid statin drugs

    4/8/05
    -Martial arts lesson in the morning. Learned some cool disarments :cool:
    -10 minute jog, 10 minute jump rope
    -biceps, triceps, chest, shoulder/back pull
    -15 minutes shooting the basket ball around...incorporated hiit by sprinting end to end of the court doing layups.
