I've been having problems with my windows media player 10. Every time a vid is opened from a link an error pops up and closes media player. Is there any way I can remove 10 and go back to say MP8?

I had problems when I first installed WMP 10. I tried to uninstall it and go back to 9, but I had missing files for some reason. I just reinstalled 10 and it works perfectly.

Use the Add/Remove Programs control panel to uninstall it, then download it from MS's website and install it again.

to uninstall, you go to add/remove programs, select 'windows components' on the left and it will be in the list
