Not too thrilled with Micro-managing-Soft in the first place but you know I am totally unimpressed that if I want to upgrade and continue using IE than I essentially have to dump my Mac for a PC. I suppose I could never ever visit sites that require IE but it's gonna be kind of to live like that. Idiots.

The only site so far that is completely useless w/out IE is MSNBC. Most other sites I've been able to use fine with Safari or Firefox and the right plug-ins.

MSNBC just flat-out refuses to acknowledge you're on a computer if it's not Windows.

I do speak "the engrish" Apparently I also think a lot faster than I can type. My whole point was that I don't want to be forced into using a PC because of those sites that pop up with the message "portions of this site run only using Internet Explorer...".

As far as I'm concerned if it won't open with firefox then i don't need to be looking at it.

There are some school websites that only use IE. For instance, to schedule, I had to use Firefox instead Safari. But that wasn't a big deal.
