There's lots of talk about being able to wear that under armour stuff now they have on the market. I even think they're talking about issuing it. :x:

The Under Armour 4039 Olive Drab Heat Gear Full T-Shirt is constructed of lightweight, quick-drying microfiber which expands, allowing moisture to bead off your body as you sweat. UnderArmour Heat Gear slides over your body with a second-skin fit, delivering compression without restriction, making it the perfect choice for any activity. This Olive Drab shirt allows a full range of motion and helps to reduce muscle fatigue. Olive is great for hunting, fishing, biking, climbing, shooting and other outdoor activities. Rated with a sun protection factor of 30 (SPF 30).

My brother is in Iraq right now and he and a lot of our military buddies are wearing it. I heard the same thing about the possible issue of it when the new uniform change is complete in 2007.

From what I understand, Under Armour is only authorized in Iraq. I did hear rumors that the Corps wanted to issue them but Under Armour is not willing to take there logo off their shirts.

Was it issued to you, or did you buy it yourself?

same time this year we couldn't wear it since it's against regulations. most likely more flexible while overseas or on the field.

They do make a military/tactical line.

They don't take the logo off but they do make it "subdued".

Let's see if this comes up..

    http://www.underarmour.com/ProductDetail.cfm?site_id=5&dept_id=1&coll_id=41&pf_id=5039

We got them issued to us at our last unit 2 black ones each. We also get 3 of them issued to us each time we deploy to wear under our lvl 4.

We also get 3 of the same type thing each time we get issued a new bullet proof vest (every 3-4 years) except they are made by second chance as opposed to under armour.

If you ever want the same thing but don't want to pay the prices you can get shirts like that at wal-mart.

    Truth

It's not technically authorized in garrison because of the logo on the shirt but you still see people wearing them. It's the kind of thing a complete asshole will chew you out for but that's about as far as it goes.

We got them in on our way to Afghanistan last year. Came back and I see people still wearing them.

EYOB: You're supply, why would you need to wear them :mamoru:

I heard the Navy was field testing them for the new uniform realease. :dunno:

Also, a while back I bought a couple of white no-name under-armor that I've accidentally worn through inspections before and never got caught. These didn't have a logo on them though.
