overall it was a pretty boring game, I did the best I could.

I shot about 5 games this year, I improved a lot, but this game certainly doesn't show my improvement :o

Pics are great, but your watermark / tag is fucking horrific!

i just have them linked from my smugmug and i have it set to automatically watermark.

I need a decent watermark, but haven't really had the time or creativity to come up with a nice clean one.

feel free to make me one :x:

You get what you pay for! :o

Seriously though, nothing at all would be better than that. C'mon, surely you can spend a little time towards a decent tag for your photos, no?

    Fix
    Your
    Horizons
    ...

    Seriously.

Nothing throws off a picture more than a severely crooked horizon.

i'm always confused as what to do with my horizons, a lot of the time, a fixed straight horizon seems to look worse than leaving it as shot.

not really sure why as I am normally picky about pelf.

hmm i'll go back and look at them again.

Ill never forget this article I read on sports shooter where Robert Beck was reviewing a kids portfolio and ripped it all to pieces mainly because of crooked horizons.

As far as the shots go

1.I like the idea. I dont like the goal post going through the player but its more of just an annoyance and not something that ruins the picture.
    2.Soft.
3.Not a bad capture. Just nothing special. Thats not a big deal though. Shooting for a lot of places can require you to get stock images of people like this. Well...Not quite like this because you cant see a face (and that would be preferable) but you get the idea.
4.I would have gone tighter. Dont let a person's eye wander.
    5.Tighter
6.These are hit and miss. I personally like this type of shot. I wish it didnt look like you were playing in the middle of a subdivision, but ah well. :o
7.Needs more face. Again, sometimes you just take what you can get. I know very well that sometimes things just dont pan out your way
    8.Same as 7
9.The face it does have is just soooo dark :hs:
    10. If it was level, shot just a hair earlier, and had a little bit more background in it, I would absolutely love it.

Great shots man. You were in my territory. I didn't luck up and score tickets to the game unfortunately. And the game was slow up until the 4th. :)

    Nice pics man.

I know you can't help it, but annoys me how the bg in some pics are really dark blue.
