    Dude how can you call yourself any type of fitness enthusiast and never have had abs?

    Im not an ab guy by any means but I have to lean out enough to see em every now and then.

    i dont know if i've ever done ab work more than 3 times since i started lifting, to be honest.. i'm sure all my lifts would go up if i did. i am considering it :o

    I failed to do ab work for a long time because I didnt give a shit about the beach body. Realized this spring that my squat was suffering badly because of it.

    Keep working them - i try to do abs nearly every day.

    Try targeting both your lower and upper abs during your workouts and rotating which section gets worked out each day.

    you can section off your abs dude, working them directly each day is retarded.

    :werd: squat especially. Especially on form, strong abs will save your back.

    Try this:
    Alternate, every workout.
    A) 1. Kneeling Cable Crunch 3x12-15
    2. Crunch Machine 5-0-5 tempo 3x6-8
    3. Swiss Ball Crunch 3xMax

    B) 1. Decline Sit Ups 3xMax
    2. Torso Rotations 3x12-15/side
    3. DB Pullovers (focus on serratus) 3x12-15

    no its still retarded. Indirect work is fine but doing them 7x a week is just a waste.
