This is my first topic so don't make me cut my wrists.

Post your thoughts on what the ideal metal band would be. It can consist of anyone from any time, dead or alive.

    Here's mine

    Glenn Danzig-Vocals
    John Petrucci-Lead Guitar
    James Hetfield-Rhythm Guitar/vocals
    Steve Harris-Bass Guitar
    John Bonham-Drums

    Comments?

Well, besides the fact that this is probably a repost... I gotta just say... are you going to get the same results when you mix/match? Take, as an example, Axl and Slash... both good, but together and not pissed off... Unstoppable.
That being said... I think I will have to say:

    Jon Bonham-Drums (good call, Kozzy)
Dimebag and Randy Rhoads-Guitar (I'm a believer in 2 guitarists, and I think these 2 would really play off of each other.) I can use dead guys, can't I? This is fantasy.
Steve Harris-Bass (I'm just partial to this guys style)
Ozzy-Vocals (of course, since I am using Randy Rhoads, I think the choice is obvious.)

Those choices would of course change daily, but thats my current idea.

Repost obviously, but just for the hell of it here goes. This will probably be diffrent than what i put the last time

Vocals/Rythem Guitar: James Hetfield (the one from 1989)
    Lead Guitar/Backup Vocs: Zakk Wylde
Drums: Bonham, if not him, Jimmy Degrasso
    Bass:Cliff Burton i guess

Just the first thing i thought of that would blend decently, not like having Axl rose and a Hetfield or Zakk sing, that wouldn't mesh at all.

Vocals - (can't decide, so either Phil Anselmo, Ozzy, or Howard Jones)
    Lead/Rhythm Guitar - Dimebag Darrell
    Lead/Rhythm Guitar - Zakk Wylde
    Bass - Cliff Burton
    Drums - Dave Lombardo
