For those of us who can't watch the final live on tv

    Results
    # Keith Jardine defeats Kerry Schall by TKO (leg kick) at 3:28 of the second round
    # Melvin Guillard defeats Marcus Davis by TKO (cuts) at 2:55 of the second round
    # Josh Burkman defeats Sam Morgan by KO at 21 seconds of the first round – Burkman takes Morgan down and the fighters clash heads, rendering Morgan unconscious; Burkman finishes with elbows :ugh:
    # Kenny Florian defeats Kit Cope by submission (rear naked choke) at 0:37 of the second round
    # Rashad Evans defeats Brad Imes by split decision after 3 rounds of action
    # Joe Stevenson defeats Like Cummo by unaminous decision after 3 rounds of action
    # Diego Sanchez defeats Nick Diaz by unaminous decision after 3 rounds of action

    # Fight lineup (in reverse order):
    # Diego Sanchez vs. Nick Diaz (Main Event – Welterweights)
    # Brad Imes vs. Rashad Evans (Main Card – Heavyweight Final)
    # Joe Stevenson vs. Luke Cummo (Main Card – Welterweight Final)
    # Kit Cope vs. Kenny Florian (Main Card - Welterweights)
    # Sam Morgan vs. Josh Burkman (Preliminary Bout – Welterweights)
    # Melvin Guillard vs. Marcus Davis (Preliminary Bout – Welterweights
    # Kerry Schall vs. Keith Jardine (Preliminary Bout – Heavyweights)

    My comments
    Jardine vs Schall
Good, we only got to see schall for one episode so there no real loss in him losing this fight

    Melvin vs Davies
Likewise, i was sick of that irish wannabee. Good for melvin, the guy is exciting and good for the division.

    Morgan vs Burkman
Damn, i had high hopes for morgan, it says a clash of heads but wouldn't that make it a NC or wasn't it picked up on.Kenny Florian defeats Kit Cope by submission (rear naked choke) at 0:37 of the second round

Why does this sport seem to be getting more and more of these retarded results?

While his self created hype annoys me, I try to ignore what a fighter does outside the ring.

At this point I think he's 2 or 3 wins away from a title shot, but with the division stacked like it is, that's 2 or 3 solid opponents.

Tonights performance gives me more faith in him, but a tougher road lies ahead for sure.

cope tapped almost at exactly the same time as the buzzer, just milliseconds after the buzzer so they didn't count it. he got up clutching his arm looking in pain, then kept it tucked tight for the little bit of the next round before he got submitted.

    bjj wins again.

    yeah no more sponsor shoutouts.

apparently people like joe's tire barn were getting $10k-15k ad placement for $2-3K and the ufc couldn't skim off the top, so they were gettin pissed.

It sucks b/c the fighters aren't getting enough on average to be "pro" athletes. Taking money away from them is just horrid bs. If anything the ufc should sell ads for the fighters to thank and then just bump their purses.

I hate Diego, Nick should have knocked him the fuck out. Gotta give diego respect w/ 16-0 though. Good bloody fight.

Joe & luke fight was good too. Luke deserved a contract too in my opinion, he's a crowd fav. :wtc: UFC need more fighters anyways.

Kenny showed us why he's a bjj black belt tonight. That armbar was pretty sweet. And then he submitted him at will in r2
