    shot a graduation today

I went there just to take pictures of my brother, and whilst i was there, i had random parents approach me to take pictures of their kids

so i just posted up spitting distance from the stage

mind you, i was dressed up pretty fly, and after a while the securities kept clearing the isle of parents with compact cameras telling them to make room for the photographer (me)

fucken direct sunlight kills me, there was nothing i could do about it

You need to be more selective with your photos, not a chance in hell I'm looking through more than 20 photos for C&C.

Haha no. In general it's grades 6-8, roughly ages 11-14.

What, do they get a piece of paper saying "Hey, thanks for staying for three years, not that it's something you can drop out of... 8th grade, wow, you've really done it!"

We never had any of that crap

You don't need a "light bouncer" for fill flash. The vivitar is perfectly capable of filling in the harsh shadows. You might have been too far away for the flash to be effective.

Pretty ridiculous if you ask me...
Only two graduations really matter; high school and university. Pretty pointless for the rest. It's like the honor roll bumper stickers that parents plaster on their cars.

If you were a parent you'd know why it matters.
