Anderson Silva, holy shit :eek3: :eek4:

Also it was cool to see the UFC using Pride fight clips again, although that means very little

also, a judge scoring the Goulet-Cummo fight a draw :ugh:

please tell me how a judge could score the Evans/Bonnar and Cummo/Goulet fight 29-29. BOTH fights weren't even close to a draw.

holy crap.. i feel a little bad for cummo.. he almost closed out that choke. that wouldve been a gigantic comeback.

im really annoyed watching rashad.. i wish someone would sub him. he just makes mma fights a takedown contest.

damn at anderson silva.. i didnt think he'd murder leben so quickly. he really makes me appreciate kickboxing. He doesn't throw those wide loopy shots, he just throws jabs and straights right in the guys face. when he first did that you could tell leben was like "ow, my face"

Great fights tonight. Jesus, Anderson is amazing. I honestly didn't think Leben would go down so quick. I bet Rogan lost it when he heard the 29/29 call after the Goulet/Cumo fight . I really wanted Cumo to win that. Rashad had great takedowns but just couldn't finish it. I'd like to see him and Koshcheck got at it :hs:

:werd: rashad is competing with lindland as being the most successfully boring fighter. Just takedown & then tries to win the fight without taking any risks. He doesnt try to initiate a punishing GnP, i dont even recall him trying to make a concerted effort to pass guard.

from the first two jabs silva threw at leben's face... i was like :eek3:
i've seen silva fight before, but in no way did i expect that. Leben never looked so bad, you see it clearly in their footwork, silva light on his feet moving with fluidity & then well, leben was completely flat footed looking to throw slow haymakers.

Also, even with a showing that good for silva, i still think franklin will dominate a match between them, rich is just a much bigger man, that commands so much more force.

Wow, Silva put on a precision striking clinic. It really showed that Leban needs to concentrate on his blocking if he wants to compete at the top level.

i think what leben should learn from this fight is to not rely on his chin so much...and take a step back and recover. he is buying into the thought that he is a tank and can just keep pressing foward even when getting hit with big shots...he does it in all his fights. vs a lot of guys it will be fine but silva just nailed him over and over

i wonder how much silva walks around at. fight finder lists him at 5' 11"...but im sure he's around 6'...which is franklin's height. and their body types are completely different. i wonder if silva could compete at 170.
