They have got to show more fights, this is better than most PPV's.

  3. I am very excited for Irvin vs. Alexander slugfest, and especially Karo vs. Alves.

    Karo/Alves will be

if Karo wins, hopefully he'll get Fitch if not a title shot

  5. I think Alves is going to win. Karo isn't going to be able to control him enough, let alone finish him. The damage will start adding up.

yeah, alves striking is too on-point, but i can see Karo giving him problem if he closes the gap

  7. Yeah, but you have to be a real beast to control Thiago, and Karo has shown he's better at takedowns than control. I expect a few takedowns, but Karo will be eating shots every time he comes in, and eventually the tide will turn.

I want to see Diaz/Pellegrino.. That ought to be a really good matchup.

And hopefully Houston gets back to what he looked like in his first 2 fights.

  10. Man, I hope Irvin realizes he'll never wear a belt and just comes in to entertain. He could probably beat Houston if he just went for takedowns.

I hope they just go for fireworks though. Irvin is pretty sturdy, but I don't know if he can handle the ridiculous power Houston has if it's a punch-for-punch brawl.

Of course, Irvin has his own sleeping pills to dish out.

After that, winner gets Sokodjou or Igor Vovchanchyn, for the 'ultimate punching power' title.

I can smile when its raining.
According to MMAJunkie spike is going to make it a 3 hr broadcast. Probably because they didn't realize how awesome this card is.

I can imagine Joe silva sitting in his office at some point just looking at the finalized card. He pauses and looks at the fights he has to cut for a 2hr tv broadcast and just screaming. FUCK

    yeah, true

as much as i like karo, he's still pretty sloppy with...almost most everything. that on top of Thiago's awareness, it'll be hard to catch him :hsd:

I hope karo doesn't get a title shot if he wins this

  15. Hopefully Alves gets his dick on straight and just comes blasting Low kicks like there's no tomorrow. Karo won't check them and his leg will fall off after 2 rounds, even if Alves gives up the takedown 80% of the time he throws one.

why's that? he deserves one IMO...well it'd be between him and Fitch
his kicks are brutal and lightening quick, so as long as they don't leave him open to Karo's retard looping punches, then good point :o

I guess I just find him boring to watch :o

I think the thing that got me the most is him not wanting to fight fitch because when he loses he won't be in title contention anymore

Karo wasn't even offered Fitch. He said he'd prefer not to fight him at this point in time but if it had been offered he would have taken it.

    He keeps losing. :dunno:

  25.

He's 2-3 in the UFC. What you on about?

He needs a win. Unless you're thinking Samy will beat him too.
