I just heard Jeff Sherwood (on the SDS) ask what he thought would happen if the UFC bought the WWE, or the other way around (I didn't hear clearly). He said on the air that there are rumors floating around. Something also about Frank Shamrock somewhat "confirming the rumor".

He was talking to Lee Coats, co-owner of FFC.

    Very questionable. And scary.

I think Dana would fit in perfectly. He is already a heel, maybe he can be like hulk and switch.

They just retouched the subject, it was rumors of WWE buying UFC.

If WWE purchasing Zuffa means Dana is shown the door then I am all for it.

The UFC needs someone with class in charge of it to get more mainstream acceptance. (and no, I'm not saying the McMahon's have way more class that White)

I think Shane McMahon would be a good fit if the WWE ever purchases it.

If the UFC were truly looking to sell, then I hope Cuban would be the front runner

If WWE purchases UFC then the fighters would have awesome entrances like they do in Japan.

WWE's market cap is over a billion dollars, the Fertitas brothers are worth billions of dollars. I don't see the WWE being able to purchase the UFC anytime soon.

The UFC is worth significantly less than a billion dollars, and if the Fertita bros are looking to sell it doesn't matter how much they are worth.

I'm in for epic pride style entrances.

It doesnt matter how much the Fertitas are worth. UFC is worth a couple of hundred million if that.

I don't see the UFC being anywhere close to its peak. Sure, it has gotten feverishly popular over the last 5 years, but it still doesn't have half the mainstream recognition that other sports do. This is only the beginning for MMA.

LOL you serious? He's saying being worth something makes no difference on how much something is worth, or a reason to not sell it/sell it. If that makes any sense. I do believe that is logic, or not, fuck I'm dumb.

I am quite serious, I'm having a hard time trying to put together what he's trying to say exactly.

That's what I find funny as hell, it's like when someone in the group doesn't get a joke. I can't really explain it lol.

He's saying that just because they are rich, doesn't change the fact that UFC is it's own entity. it doesn't affect the marketability of them selling it. Like you have a vintage comic worth a lot, and you're worth a lot, doesn't mean you don't have to sell it because of it.

Edit: now what the fuck did I just try to explain.
