I am somewhat dissapointed in the fact that Jardine actually had the chance to fight chuck.

Chuck fighting as champ for 4 years and had a few opponents. I think Jardine should have to fight all them before the shot at chuck. I relize they can't just have the same guys fight all the time.

I know all circumstances dont allow this but I think he should have at least fought TITO and Babalu. Just starting to dislike the fact that they just randomly pick who is going to fight.

Like they said to Forrest you are now one of the top contenders for the title shot, well he should fight Jardine again before that but shouldn't of fought Jardine in the first place cause he had fought more people and won more matches then Jardine when the fought.

Kinda think they are giving these TUF fighters a better chance to suceed then regular fighters.

Am I the only one that is getting tired of this or is their some exsplanation that Im unaware of.

I thought the entire cardd sucked. You're right. I did think Jardine, altho he won, did not deserve a chance against chuck.

Jardine lost to bonnar before he beat forrest.

I think they should face them but should fight the same people as the last contender to get their. Its just that weight class is huge and you never see anyone fight but the few people everyone knows. I just think they should have a system or order in which it takes to get a title shot.

Exactly and I know they dont want Bonnar and Forrest to fight again, but have Bonnar fight someone as good or better then Forrest and Jardine take a step back. NOt just give Jardine the title shot and he just came off a Knock out aswell.

While I don't think thats completely true, its easy to think with a lot of the PRIDE transfers not doing so well after being "top contenders"

Anderson Silva has been the most impressive, followed by Rampage imo.

i'm shocked there hasn't been the normal bullshit threads saying chuck's washed up cause he lost, i'm happy to see that there aren't 3 threads about chuck being a loser or some bullshit like that

I would like to see Machida get his shot against some fighters of a better caliber and I know he is boring but he wins.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the UFC has no ladder, its just completely random and arbitary matches that they throw together.

I would have been disappointed that Jardine got the chance to fight Chuck if Chuck had won. Then it would have been completely obvious that they were throwing him in there for a filler fight. He proved that he belonged there by winning.

The thing that I love about MMA is that anyone can win. There are just so many aspects of the game that it's almost impossible to be a perfect complete fighter. The sport is still young, though. More and more people are finally starting to make enough money doing it that they can do it full time and get excellent training. That's one of the reasons that we're seeing so many "upsets". I think that we'll see a lot more of them before some truly dominant fighters start to take over again.

Chuck v. Rashad, put Chuck back on the Wrestler-with-questionable-stand-up roll.

I believe you haven't read anything worth reading then. Everyone is taking this the wrong way. I am glad Jardine won and take nothing away from him or give Chuck any excuses. I just believe that ready to fight Chuck or not he should have fought some of the other top contenders in this class, before fighting Chuck.

I would have liked to see him fight Babalu, Tito etc....

I get what you're saying, but if Chuck is supposed to get a title shot, he beats Jardine. He doesn't.

Should Griffin have to now beat chuck and Hendo to get a chance at the title? Should anyone who fights next have to do the same? Doesn't make sense. Babalu isn't even in the UFC anymore, not to mention Tito is set to have a rematch with Rashad.
