Damn Carwin, Velasquez, Lesner, Mir, Nog, Couture, dos Santos, Herring, Kongo and im sure i missed some others

The UFC doesnt need Fedor...and Big Tim :noes: Although Id love to see Fedor fight Lesner it will never happen now because of how stacked the division is getting. Fedor is losing alot of bargaining power :hs:

until a UFC heavyweight can at least go past the 1st round with Fedor it'll be hard to take them too seriously.

Tim champ for awhile = wasted vs fedor
AA champ = knocked the fuck out
    next?

but it is nice that they actually seem to have a HW division now, which was so lacking not so long ago

AA has always had a weak chin

It's getting to be the other way around. Until Fedor signs with the UFC and fights someone other than the UFC's rejects, it's going to get hard to take him seriously at the end of his career.

Personally I wouldn't really throw Nog and Couture in there as evidence of a stacked division. I don't think they're going to be in there for a whole lot longer.

Urite because not signing with the ufc to fight (who?), totally makes a joke out of everything else Fedor has done.

He might as well be signed with the UFC since all he's been doing in his last fights is kiling their former champions.

At this stage in his career, all he's doing is fighting nobodies. Who at HW is out there that's really at the top of the HW division and doesn't fight in the UFC? Barnett and who? But hey, if it protects his undefeated record...

    :fawk:

True. And the best young HWs are there as well.

Very true. Tim and AA probably would be middle of the road today. Carwin would knock AA into next week and Big Tim wouldn't have a shot against some of the big wrestlers (Velasquez, Lesnar) I mean, damn, they brought in a 11ty billion year old Randy Couture to fight Tim, and he won.

    Yup. Oh well.

Big Tim and AA (mostlikely Barnett next) = Nobodies ?

    :rofl::ugh::ugh2:

Who's in the top period in the UFC that you think he needs to fight? an aging Couture? Mir? derail the Lesnar hype train? beat Nog for 4th time? Herring again? or a bunch of other nobodies like Kongo and Gonzaga?

Some big big boys in the HW division which is awesome to see. I dont see too many LHWs thinking about stepping up a division.

AA would still kill most of the HW division, the guy is a beast.

Antigeek, if Fedor retired tomorrow he would go down as the best heavy weight ever. You do not understand how incredible Fedor is, or maybe your just a UFC fan?

AA is far from washed up and middle of teh road. Guy is still very much a contender. AA would smash alot of the UFC heavys. I think AA could take randy and nog handily.

First off, AA would not. He beat a highly overrated Big Ben and luckly had a paid off ref against Roy Nelson.

    Sylvia has always = overrated

And Barnett is my favorite fighter, but people overrate him alot. He is a fucking ground guy and it took him something like 9 full minutes in mount to be able to finish yvel

If Fedor hung up his gloves to run a Sambo academy or something, and we never saw him fight again, yes he'd go down as one of the best ever.

But if he wants to continue fighting, and not do it in the UFC, he's going to be fighting old washed up guys or freak shows. I'd love to see Fedor against Lesnar, as would about 99% of the MMA fans out there.
