Did this with the 170 yesterday...this ishow I see the HW division...

Crocop/Gonzaga winner vs Couture (CroCop wins)
Vera/Arlovski (assuming Arlovski wins at 71)

    CroCop/Couture winner vs Vera/Arlovski winner...

CroCop/Couture/Vera/Arlovski winner vs Fedor in the first UFC/Pride Superfight PPV

    Fedor - CroCop 2..IN THE CAGE :x: :x: :x:

how do you see it playing out?

Tims gonna get his belt back and keep it for 13years and he retires after submitting big nog and knocking out mark hunt whilst beating fedor into a pulp.

“I will win by submission or knockout. He will have to try his title shot among the light heavyweights, against Chuck Liddell, because the name of the next No. 1 contender to the heavyweight title is Gabriel Gonzaga.”

I like the way you think, but it's quite unrealistic. I agree all the way until CC v AA, and even then it won't be easy for Andrei getting that far, as much as I love the guy he has some serious competition in HW now.

I think Fedor would have a major advantage in a cage against CC.

To everyone doubting my AA predictions, I firmly believe that Andrei is a better striker than CC. And by that I mean Faster, harder hitting hands, and is better on the ground for sure if it came to that.

Pitbull will not eat a KO left high kick. I repeat, the pitbull will not eat a KO left high kick.

No they are assuming that would be their next match up if AA beats Werdrum.

Sorry, I can't agree with Arlovski being a better striker. He's more explosive, but he is kind of wild. Cro Cop is one of the most controlled fighters I've seen.

Cro Cop is going to avoid the opening flurry and drop in a few straight lefts and then finish with a headkick when Arlovski is getting ground down.

Sylvia must be a better striker than both of them then

and when does being a better striker = being better on the ground? :hsugh:

    Good ol' MMAth.

Honestly though, AA is not a better striker than CC. I have a mancrush on the guy and will defend him until the end but his standup overall is nothing like Mirko's. I still see the fight being an exciting as fuck two rounds, with CC wearing AA out and finishing with GnP in round 2. Bookmark this post, as it is prophecy if the two will ever meet.

kinda sorta using MMAth here, but in this situation it calls for it, especially seeing how Sylvia pretty much dominated AA on the feet
