Jens, Nate and Gray - not sure about the rest.

Nate Diaz is a tough kid.

Wang is my upset pick. Based on the odds, I bet $100 on him at MMAPlayground (Fantasy).

    Picks in bold:

    Jens Pulver Vs. BJ Penn
    Manny Gamburyan Vs. Nathan Diaz
    Roger Huerta Vs. Doug Evans
    Floyd Sword Vs. Thales Leites
    Brandon Melendez Vs. Joe Lauzon
    Andy Wang Vs. Cole Miller
    Rob Emerson Vs. Gray Maynard
Allen Berube Vs. Leonard Garcia x BRUTALITY
    Brian Geraghty Vs. Matt Wiman

I really think Manny will beat Diaz in boreing fashion. His small limbs and stature wil make him difficult to submit, especially for Diaz who doesn't have to musclular power them through. I anticipate many kimura attempts in vain from the bottom as Manny LnP's his way to boring UD.

Sucks too, Nate is a much more exciting and versitile fighter.

How is he a prick? I expected him to be more of a lunatic on the show but he’s been quite calm. It was that one time where he got pissed cuz they wrote “suck it” on the wall. And last week it was Karo acting like a prick.

He went overboard with the writing on the wall shit, but after that, i think he was one of the coolest guys.

LnP to me is laying in guard throwing mostly superficial strikes and not trying to reach a more dominant position or a potentially fight-ending situation, TKO or submission.

Based on his last fight he didn't try to acheive either of those.

I don't fault him for his last fight though, it was probably the most important fight of his career and he did what he had to do for the sake of his future, I think he will try to do the exact same thing tommorow. I think some of the blame for LnP'ers falls onto the person being controlled, it is their responsibility to prevent it as well, if they can't prevent their opponent from controlling them they don't desereve to win.

In all honesty, BJ Penn has fought better strikers, wrestlers, and jiu jitsu practitioners at much higher weights. Jens has nothing that can surprise BJ but he's still going to put up a great fight.

    Can't wait!

Karo was in his face, grabbing his shoulder, talking down to him, slapping him in the face. Karo acted under the guise of being playful, but it was straight up disrespect and the beginnings of a confrontation. Nate reacted to that better than I would have if someone I didn't know and/or trust personally was doing that to me.
