There were a couple fights that many ppl thought were mis-judged.
I have to agree with both of them, i really did think uno and wanderlei won.

This is why i really see the ten point must system as being flawed, but for now it will have to do, there will be pros and cons for everything.
I read somewhere somebody suggesting an extra round, like they do for k1 and already do for TUF. That i think would be a very good idea.

What i really wanted to touch on though, was how i have lost all interest and respect for marcus davis. I cant see how anyone thinks he won the fight, he was rocked and dropped twice, while he barely did any damage.

What pisses me off is how in the post fight interview ( ufc.com ) he is still fucking whining how he won, then hardy comes in to congratulate him, and the first thing he says is " i won that fight " .

Fuck you Marcus Davis, you just lost a fan that night, and im sure not to be the only one.

Dan Hardy does seem like a cool ass dude.

I didn't see the post fight interview but just the way he acted in the ring afterwards was BS. I chalked it off to him still being in the heat of the moment and not thinking clearly. Then I figured his corner was fueling the fire by telling him he won.
If he's seen the tape, he knows he lost.

Knocks him down a nothch in my book. But I still don't like Hardy. :mamoru:

I don't think Uno won, but I believe Wanderlei won 2 of those 3 rounds. It was close as fuck, but he was putting the pressure on Rich and rocked him pretty badly a few times there and kept with the aggressiveness. It honestly could have gone either way, but I'm a huge Wanderlei fan so I'm obviously corrupted in my view.

I agreed with every decision based on the criteria and scoring system the judges are told to use.

    Dan Hardy is lols

    Marcus Davis is a turd

I thought Marcus Davis won and wandy won.
Maybe my view is biased cuz Im from Maine.
I do think Davis was acting like a cock nugget though after the fight. Obviously the guy is really butthurt cuz hes been claiming hes irish for so long and he got called out by a guy who actually has an accent.

I think Hardy won the fight, but I really thought the judges were going to give it to Davis. They usually give the fight to someone who controls the action but doesn't do much damage.
Hardy did more damage, but was laying on his back for a big portion of the fight.

I totally agree with the Franklin/Wanderlei decision - although I wouldn't have been surprised to see it go the other way. I was honestly expecting a split decision.

I thought Hardy's jaw was broken for a second there. After he ate that huge straight the round ended and his mouth was hanging wide open with blood pooling heavily. Tough little SOB

Davis LOST (but was justified in not being buddies witht the dude after the fight, that little bastard is a smart ass and there's no reason for Davis to be nice to him)

Wandi was so damn close i can't complain about the decision but i sort of leaned towards Wandi deserving the win (definately could have gone either way in my book)

    Uno definately LOST imo

Wandi and Rich could have gone either way
Uno got beat handily, and only got anything done for about 20 seconds the entire fight

I still think that if you're going to use a 10 point must system, you need to be more open to giving people 8 (or less) in a round, if they got dropped or generally pounded on
You almost never see an 8 point round in mma

Are there any videos anywhere of the fights? I didn't get to see them this weekend.

So no comments on the Cro Cop eye poke? I was pretty excited to see that fight, before it happened. I feel sorry for the Al-turk guy. All he could do was take hits until the ref stopped the fight. That's BS.

Yeah, I didn't see the eye poke because his back was to the camera, but it was pretty obvious how he covered up that it was an eye poke.

Sucks to lose that way, but Al Turk kinda sucks anyway so I guess it was just speeding up the inevitable.

The slo-mo replay was very clear. It looked very painful.

Yeah, but I wanted to see what could happen. Anything is possible, right?

I don't understand why Dan seriously has a job he is the worst ref to ever fucking ref a fight ever. I seriously think, that he thinks about decisions way too long. I knew that was an eye poke by the way he covered his eyes (not a block) and I don't fucking get how he could have not understood that basic body language. I don't get what happened there to be honest, but I don't really think it was a true win. I am a huge Crocop fan, but I have to accept he's done, like I will have to someday with all my favorite fighters :wtc:.

Rich won, clear as day. Landed more shots, landed more power shots, dropped Wandy twice, and controlled the fight with foot movement. No way you can give that fight to Wandy who missed far more than he connected.

he dropped wandy with a jab which was more off balance than anything. When was the second time he dropped him?

    Rich landed more shots,
wandy did more damage, had him in trouble twice and was far more agressive. The only reason Rich won is that stupid takedown they give too much credit to in the 3rd. If he didnt get that- wandy would have won no doubt.

:werd: I thought Wandy won, it could have gone either way. However, to say that Franklin clearly won is :ugh:
