Can't wait to see the Tavares fight. Real step up in competition for him.

I wasnt all that impressed in his last fight. I think people got way too excited about him beating anorexic abe.

Tyson doesnt seem to be getting better, but it does seem like after that edgar war he is ready for anything. Never in the Clay fight did he look worried or in danger. Calm the whoel time. I think this can easily be yet another amazing fight. And if it is they need to start payign this kid serious huge money and make him fight more often.

chuck vs jardine? wtf!?!? jardine just got annihilated by a no-name first timer, why does he get to be chuck's first fight out of losing the belt??

I was actually out of the loop for almost a month, I was traveling in europe, sorry.

I recognize houston alexander was a dangerous opponent but most people had no idea who he was coming into his first ufc fight.

so expound for me why jardine is fighting chuck? to give chuck a win to get him back on track?

lucky, wish I was back in europe.
yup, seems like he's a big name that will put chuck back on the radar. Jardine may not be close to being rankable, but he is a big name and someone they can market as being a top 205 fighter.

They need a huge draw for that night, i dont believe there is a title fight, so they need a huge draw, chuck is that draw.

They probably gave him jardine because he is a big name (tuf) and will draw more people to pay to see him fight chuck rather than a much lesser known opponent (Houston). Also marketable (two top LHWs coming off of devistating losses, etc)
